Membership at the Decatur Club is divided into four categories. Our goal is to accommodate you, your business or organization the absolute best we can. Take a moment and learn more about our membership categories.

Categories & Info

Individual Membership (I)

– Any male or female of the age of 21 years and upwards may become a member of the corporation upon election by the unanimous vote of the members of the Board of Directors present at a regular meeting of such board.

*Current monthly dues are $90

Junior Membership (J)

– Any male or female between the ages of 21 and 39 years inclusive may become a member of the corporation upon election by the unanimous vote of the members of the Board of Directors present at a regular meeting of such board.

*Current monthly dues are $30

Corporate Membership

– Any business association or organization may become a member of the corporation upon election by the unanimous vote of the members of the Board of Directors present at a regular meeting of such board. The business shall designate one representative who is an owner or employee of the business who shall function as an official representative of said corporation. *Current monthly dues are based on the number of “business employee memberships” sponsored by the business association holding a “Corporate Membership”

Business Employee Membership

– An employee of a business association or organization who holds a “Corporate Membership” may become a member of the corporation upon election by the unanimous vote of the members of the Board of Directors present at a regular meeting of such a board. That “Corporate Member’s” Authorized Corporate Representative must grant permission before a business employee membership will be approved.

*Current monthly dues are $30

 Affordable dues structure with no initiation fee and 4 membership categories

 Reciprocal privileges at over 100 private clubs throughout the United States

 Special Member Brunches for Mother’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving

 Monthly Member events. Examples include: Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Christmas parties, Kids Night, Ballroom Dances, Murder Mysteries and Dinner Theaters

 Wine tasting and dinners

 Dinner theater packages with KFAC and Lincoln Theater events

 Specialty wine/liquor sales to members at discounted rates

 Bridge and Poker groups

 Historic downtown location; founded in 1883 and the present building was built in 1929-30

 Recently remodeled facilities including private meeting rooms for functions accommodating 6-350

 Members are allowed to host guests who may pay via credit card

 Convenient hours of operation Monday through Saturday

 Skilled Professional staff : Executive Chef, Wedding & Event Coordinator, General Manager

 Business Networking opportunities

 Decatur Club is home to multiple service groups including: IAAP, Kiwanis, , Decatur Metro Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, ABWA/SOYA, Thursday Noon Rotary, Noon Women’s Network

 Off-premise catering available for members

 A monthly statement of all charges is mailed to your home or business
